Description

ILO Office for Türkiye is an active contributor to the efforts of the UN System in Türkiye under Regional Refugee and Resilience Plan (3RP). The ILO has also been implementing a Refugee Response Programme in line with the 3RP, taking a “one refugee approach”, where it supports all refugees and asylum seekers in Türkiye, which include Syrians under Temporary Protection (SuTP), as well as International Protection applicants and status holders. The ILO in Türkiye will continue to support the capacities of government and social partners for new and improved services to promote decent working conditions for refugees and host community members to respond to the needs arising due to crisis. Turkish government is a member of the Coordinating Group of the Global Coalition for Social Justice and several of the social partners are the members of the Coalition. ILO Office for Türkiye will continue supporting the Turkish Constituents to be active members of the Coalition and provide technical support in their endeavours to advocate for social justice.
