Growth Research Platform
Description
The Growth Research Platform (GRP) will consolidate three existing research programmes on economic growth in developing countries and add a new policy response pillar. The four pillars are: • Structural Transformation and Economic Growth (STEG): Evidence to support long term policy choices around structural transformation. • Private Enterprise Development in LICs (PEDL): Knowledge on how to support new and growing firms in developing countries. • Reducing Conflict and Improving Performance in the Economy (ReCIPE): Economic policies to build resilience and stability in fragile states. • Policy Response Window (PRW): Connecting evidence to policymakers, through building the VoxDevLit synthesis initiative and responsive expert advice. The programme will benefit developing country policy makers, the development community, and ultimately the poor, through better evidenced economic policy and programme decisions, leading to more sustainable growth outcomes and job creation.
