Knowledge for Development and Diplomacy (K4DD)
Description
FCDO makes the most difference to the lives of poor women, girls, men, and boys when its decisions are informed by evidence. K4DD will make four important contributions to FCDO’s use of evidence to inform development and diplomatic decision-making: rapid evidence reviews (and related learning products), emerging issues reports, expert challenge sessions, and evidence and policy clinics. K4DD will both complement and supplement FCDO’s in-house expertise and capacity, and service unmet demand, such as in geographies not covered by embedded expertise including advisers. It will develop internal capability by bringing academic expertise and perspective to refresh and widen our knowledge, to challenge and to provide CPD support across FCDO.
