GEO: Advancing Environmental Protection, Climate Change and Democratic Resilience in Georgia
Description
The three-year adaptive project proposed by the Westminster Foundation for Democracy, an Executive Non-Departmental Public Body of the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, seeks to deliver sustainable change in environmental protection and climate resilience through enhanced democratic governance in Georgia. It will support national stakeholders in the delivery of new climate resilient and other green-focused legislation, enhance the enabling environment in favour of low-carbon alternatives and support exertion of positive pressure on governance stakeholders in favour of the mentioned outcomes. Westminster Foundation for Democracy has pioneered the use of politically informed and adaptive programme approaches that have a proven track record in delivering sustainable governance outcomes.
