Humanitarian and Health Assistance to Libya
Description
To support humanitarian partners to provide multi-sector humanitarian assistance to vulnerable populations in Libya. To improve access to primary health care (with integrated protection support), and bolster humanitarian coordination and response capability.To reach the most vulnerable at the community level with direct assistance, whilst at the same time helping to strengthen the capacity of the overall humanitarian response.The programme has 3 components To improve access to emergency healthcare by supporting INGO partners to scale up their existing health programmes To meet acute and life-saving needs through continued support to ICRC’s 2017 and 2018 appeals. To support humanitarian coordination structures to improve the quality of data and analysis of humanitarian needs and strengthen coordination. This will include funding a dedicated coordinator for the health sector working group.
