African Agriculture Technology Foundation (AATF) Phase III (2015-2020)
Description
The expected impact of support to the proposed intervention is increased productivity of small-holder farmers in Sub-Saharan Africa, including scaling up of crops resilient to climate shocks such as drought. This impact will be achieved through two outcomes a. Increased access/availability of appropriate agricultural technologies for small-holder farmers in targeted countries in Sub-Saharan Africa. b. A financially sustainable organisation/mechanism that is responsive to the needs of small-holder farmers in ensuring that market failures in the development and adoption of appropriate agricultural technologies continue to be addressed.
