Support to Ifakara Health Institute
Description
To support Ifakara Health institute strategic plan by strengthening the capacity to generate high quality evidence. This will enable the institute to deliver research and knowledge, which offers material contributions to advances in public health in Tanzania and globally. This contributes towards MDGs 4 and 5 by reducing under five mortality rate to 67 per 1000 live births, infant mortality rate to 40 per 1000 live births and maternal mortality ratio to 170 per 100000 live births by 2016.
