Central Asia Small Projects Programme

This programme will provide the mechanism for embassies to develop small projects to further the aims of the Country Business Plans and develop learning to support wider programming initiatives, with the overall aim of supporting development in the region.
Jobs and Inclusive Growth Centre of Expertise (JIG CoE)

The UK Centre of Expertise (CoE) for Jobs and Inclusive Growth (JIG) aims to contribute to inclusive and sustainable poverty reduction and enhance climate resilience by providing technical assistance and expertise in developing countries, and generating evidence on what works in supporting firms to grow and become more productive and responsible employers. The JIG CoE will support countries implementing their growth strategies, providing support to governments and firms. It will support businesses and investment in a broad range of 'real economy' sectors including manufacturing and services: these include critical minerals supply chains, electric vehicles and environment-friendly packaging, green construction materials; and the services that complement these sectors in their supply chains (e.g. design, logistics, e-commerce, and professional services).
Poverty Reduction Programme

The UK/Zambia Poverty Reduction Program (ZPRP) aims to catalyse and lock in new approaches to sustainable poverty reduction in Zambia. It builds on decades of UK support for social protection, and broader human development support including nutrition, adolescent and sexual reproductive health, and education. It also harnesses new political commitment to decentralisation to strengthen systems of service delivery and shift the politics of development towards greater accountability and responsiveness. The programme is specifically targeted at empowering women and girls: increasing attainment of a full 12 years of education, better sexual and reproductive health, improved nutrition, and maximising the positive contribution of a youthful population to Zambia’s future.
Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean: Bilateral Programme Fund (2025/26)

International Programme (ODA) in support of BHC Port Moresby Country Business Plan

This programme will support the main Country Business Plan objectives including: • Climate and nature: contributing efforts to increase PNG’s resilience to climate change and its adaptability to sustain healthy oceans and biodiversity • Economic resilience and growth: contributing to PNG’s economic growth and resilience through UK trade policy and programmes • Stability and security: contributing to improvements in PNG’s capacity to counter malign influence, reduce local conflict and strengthen the rules-based system.

Facilitate the enabling environment of the humanitarian response in country, through close engagement with national authorities and humanitarian partners, and advocacy towards effective coordination. Maximise impact, promote UK leadership and strengthen bilateral relations with partner Governments.
