Refugee Support, Empowerment and Transformation (Re-SET)
Description
The programme is targeting to provide refugee support in Uganda that is beyond an emergency framing onto a longer-term more sustainable footing. This will be delivered through three pillars below. Acute humanitarian needs will be provided but to the most highly vulnerable based upon an up-to-date needs assessment. Self-Reliance and Resilience will be prioritised, supporting refugees and host communities to transition from poverty and vulnerability by building livelihoods and income generating opportunities using market-led approaches and private sector linkages System Change targeting impactful areas of transformation. This could include technical support for the transition of services, Refugee Engagement Forums, and establishment of a data and learning facility
