FCDO-funded Chevening Scholarships enable outstanding emerging leaders from all over the world to pursue postgraduate study in the UK. Scholarships, as important and longstanding diplomatic tools, are a vital part of the UK’s soft power agenda. Scholarships forge enduring positive relationships with the next generation of global leaders, build positive perceptions of the UK, attract international business and research collaboration, and support development outcomes.
