UK-India Tech Start-up Fund
Description
The Programme, in partnership with the Government of India (GoI), aims to strengthen the start-up ecosystem in India. The programme supports delivery of the growth Pillar under the India UK Vision 2035 agreed between both countries. The programme will co-invest with GoI in early-stage technology driven enterprises in under-funded sectors with a focus on climate and environment while ensuring gender equality and standards. The Technical Assistance (TA) will support in necessary compliance, due diligence processes, hiring legal experts, and lesson learning. It will also help to address market failures, strengthen UK-India collaboration in tech sectors, creating jobs and supporting growth in both countries.
