Emergency Response to the Immediate and Emerging Needs of Conflict Affected Populations in Northern Mozambique and Tropical Storms Chalane and Eloise in Central Mozambique
Project disclaimer
Description
Building directly on its existing field presence and structures following the 2019 Cyclone Idai response, with added value and comparative advantage on the response, through this project, IOM aims to respond to the immediate humanitarian needs by providing emergency humanitarian assistance using a multisectoral and people-centred approach, increasing local capacity and (human) resources. While the initial response has kickstarted, there is an urgent need to scale up in the areas of Shelter, Camp Coordination and Camp Management (CCCM), Protection/Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS), and Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) activities to ensure adequate response to the needs of those affected.
