Description

The UNAIDS Secretariat advocates for and facilitates the generation of strategic information for an optimally effective, evidence-informed, rights-based and gender-sensitive AIDS response. The Secretariat provides guidance on the collection of relevant data through surveillance, surveys and programme monitoring, collects and synthesizes key data on the epidemic and the response to track and evaluate progress towards ending the AIDS epidemic by 2030
