Description
AI4D-FCDO (Artificial Intelligence for Development Africa) is a five-year partnership between the UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) and IDRC. It supports policy, scaled innovations and expanded leadership to spur responsible AI development. The vision of the program is one where an inclusive and responsible AI ecosystem improves the quality of life for all in Africa and beyond. This project will support the AI4D-FCDO program by covering the operational costs for the partnership, including salaries and benefits, office costs and travel of IDRC staff. Separate project approval documents will authorize the execution of individual research projects and activities related to program governance, communication and evaluation.
