Description

"The main objectives are mainstreaming and implementing OBA by Governments and Development Agencies as a key mechanism for improving the lives of poor people by facilitating their access to affordable infrastructure services. The priority countries for subsidies will be in Sub-Saharan Africa and Asia with DFID's continued support in infrastructure services in mature sectors such as energy and water & sanitation, as well as less mature ones such as public transport, solid waste and irrigation. DFID funds have to be used at least 60% on Low Income Countries (LIC) and 40% in Middle Income Countries (MIC)."
