Description
A joint partnership of Railway Children UK/Africa, Consortium for Street Children, Tanzanian Child Rights Forum, Community for Children's Rights and Government of Tanzania will work together to fulfill the rights of street children as laid out in the UN General Comment on Children in Street Situations (GC), the 1st to address this vulnerable group. This project will: analyse existing laws, regulations & guidance and identify changes needed in line with the GC; develop practical Standard Operating Procedures for government/civil society collaboration at local level; deliver targeted services for street children (civil society with government), and advocate for improvements in quality, resourcing and adequacy of services for street children.
