Description

FEMNET will provide funding, capacity building & ongoing technical support, to GROOTS in Kenya & FOWODE in Uganda to power data and evidence informed advocacy to fuel progress towards gender equality during implementation, follow up & review of SDGs. Over the span of 2 years, this project will reach 1,640 primary beneficiaries & 150,000 secondary beneficiaries, since the project will link to global and regional influencing with stakeholders / audiences drawn from FEMNET membership across Africa.

Target Groups

Women-led civil society organisations across Africa, especially in Kenya and Uganda Women in vulnerable & marginalised groups and regions Girls and women in Kenya and Uganda who face systematic gender-based discrimination preventing them from accessing their rights
