Increasing holistic services for SGBV survivors to improve the health, legal, socio-economic & gender equality status of SGBV survivors in DRC
Project disclaimer
Description
The project focuses on prevention of sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV) and improved health, legal, socio-economic and gender equality status of 4,000 (95% female) survivors of SGBV by December 2023. Changes will be incremental over 3 years via enhanced capacity of service providers to protect/respond to SGBV effectively; enhanced response to physical, emotional & legal needs of survivors; socio-economic empowerment of SGBV survivors to improve sustainable livelihoods and gender relations/women's status; and community mobilisation to change attitudes, behaviours and social norms to prevent SGBV and promote gender equality.
