Political participation: projects encouraging wider public engagement in political processes and robust institutions in Algeria.
Description
Reinforce the Algerian political system's capacity to develop responsive policy solutions that address Algerians' concerns, by strengthening parties' capacity to engage citizens—youth in particular—in identifying and implementing policy solutions to the country's most pressing challenges. A growing recognition that economic diversification and systemic reform are essential to securing a peaceful future for Algeria—and avoiding a return to the "Black Decade" of the 1990s—can serve parties working to integrate citizens' inputs into a reform agenda.
