Targeted work with local and national government and the private sector, to reduce corruption risks in the Mongolian mining sector
Description
This project will reduce corruption risks in the mining sector. Technical assistance will be provided on international best practice as Mongolia looks to pass a new Mining Law, a review of transparency around the issuing of mining licenses will be undertaken with the Ministry of Mines, and training will be given on responsible mining to local stakeholders and journalists.
