Description
Weather Advisories Feasibility, Effectiveness And Reception In South Africa Part 1. This project will conduct transdisciplinary research activities around early weather warnings (particularly heat, in relation to other weather hazards) that are relevant for health, as well as their uptake in local municipalities and vulnerable communities in South Africa. This project will have strong SAWS involvement, and it complements the work in WISER EWSA, which focuses on thunderstorms nowcasting.
