Description

Collaborative work with Chinese stakeholders to strengthen capacity in climate services, bridging the gap between information developed by scientists and service providers and the practical needs of climate-sensitive decision-makers. Development of translational science with Chinese collaborators to produce useable and useful climate science knowledge and applications.

Objectives

Integration of all activities across CSSP-China, enabling the pull-through of science developed in the other work packages by developing prototypes of climate services for key sectors, and feeding end user requirements back into the underpinning research. Develop translational science through an improved understanding of the interests of stakeholders in climate services in China and the communication of climate information.
