Description

Enables talented early career post-doctoral researchers from partner countries to spend two consecutive years undertaking research at a UK host institute. The fellowship supports talented early career researchers from partner countries to develop their research capabilities by hosting them with some of the best research departments in the UK.

Objectives

The aims are to: • Support the development of a well-trained research community • Strengthen research excellence in partner countries by identifying and supporting promising early career postdoctoral researchers. • Establish long term collaborative links between the next generation of research leaders in partner countries and the UK to benefit both research communities. • Up to 17 Fellowships (Newton Advanced Fellowships/Newton International Fellowships). Newton International Fellowships are £99K for 2 years in duration over 5 years
