Description

Collaborative research with Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Thailand to better understand the likely impacts of hydrometeorological hazards to enable appropriate adaptation and mitigation measures, such as new flood defences or the restoration of natural defences like mangroves to be developed and implemented

Objectives

The Newton Fund builds research and innovation partnerships with developing countries across the world to promote the economic development and social welfare of the partner countries.
