Building Relationships and Dialogues for Engagement (BRIDGE)
Description
BRIDGE is a 5-year programme aimed at improving Pakistan's strategic engagements with India, Afghanistan, and the wider region to minimise the risk of crisis escalation and instability. These engagements remain key to ensuring secure borders, promoting trade and political partnerships that create the stable environment for wider development goals. It will use a combination of regional and bilateral diplomacy (strategic, technical, religious) through focussed platforms with proven effectiveness to establish and sustain effective channels of communication and explore, identify and generate strategic bilateral/regional CBMs on shared concerns.
