Transforming Education in Ethiopia (TREE)
Description
This programme will include a mix of support for local service delivery through a World Bank managed trust fund (financial aid), and UK technical assistance via a commercial provider. The programme will provide improved quality of education to 1 million children (50% girls) through sustained investment across the five-year period. It will also provide 50,000 of the most marginalised children with intensive support to access and stay in school. The exact figure for marginalised children reached will need to be determined in collaboration with the successful TA supplier(s).
