Climate Resilient Infrastructure for Basic Service (CRIBS) Health and Education
Description
CRIBS will respond to the impact of climate change on access to quality health and education services, particularly for the poorest. The programme will implement a scalable model of climate-resilient health and education facilities, including boreholes for reliable water access, solarisation of energy supply, improvements to sanitation, revisions to air flow and classroom/clinic set up to control temperature, and minor refurbishments to support climate resilience and sustainability. It will work with states to build a model of resilient and sustainable health and education facilities which will help catalyse action and the deployment of green finance to support human capital development.
