This project provides core support to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).
Description
This project will support ICRC to: - Protect people and reduce instability in armed conflict through promoting and disseminating International Humanitarian Law. - Enhance humanitarian access and armed groups’ adherence to humanitarian principles. - Prioritise the most vulnerable people in need and deliver humanitarian protection and assistance in situations of armed conflict. - Implement policy priorities to enhance the ICRC’s operational humanitarian response in conflict settings. - Support and incentivise the ICRC to strengthen score oversight and assurance frameworks to manage safeguarding and fraud risks. It also enables the ICRC support to underfunded operations ensuring that it can sustainably engage in all conflict situations.
