Strengthening Resilience to Violent Extremism (STRIVE)

Last updated: 20/11/2022
IATI Identifier: GB-GOV-1-300613

Description

Conflict and fragility are significant causes of poverty. DFID will build the stability that is a necessary condition for countries’ future economic growth and poverty reduction. The global evidence base recognises that long-term stability requires a regional environment that supports resilience at multiple levels to trans-national stresses and shocks, including violent extremism. The programme will support HMG’s ability to respond to these challenges by piloting innovative development approaches to tackling the drivers of violent extremism in a vulnerable or at-risk community in four priority countries - Bangladesh, Lebanon, Iraq and Tunisia
