UK Contribution to the Government of Nepal’s Post-Earthquake Housing Reconstruction Grant Programme
Description
Contribution to the Government of Nepal's Housing Reconstruction Grant Programme that provides cash grant support to home owners to rebuild damaged houses following the recent devastating earthquake in Nepal. Payments to homeowners will be delivered in three tranches on a conditional basis, i.e. on successful completion of the previous building phase. DFID support of £4.8 million will help reach out to approximately 11,500 households with first tranche payments.
