Description
SMP III is a 4.5-year programme (May 2022 to October 2026) with a commitment to further build the FCDO’s understanding of poverty and development needs in Somalia. This follows on from the Somali Monitoring Programme II (2016-2021). The programme outcomes include:i. The FCDO has increased oversight and assurance of programme delivery, can hold partners to account and mitigate risk;ii. Strong evidence of what works and what doesn’t work is available and used to design and adapt programming;iii. Somali authorities are better able to target services to the population on the basis of accurate data.
