Description
Through their own sustainable kitchen gardens, 176 young persons with disabilities (106F 70M aged 17-30) in 2 districts in Uganda have improved food security, income and dietary diversity (plus that of their 704 household members), also reducing their experience of violence. Young people with disabilities’ own local organisations have the peer trainers, learning sites, organisational strength and links to government needed to sustain and grow the approach.
