Project iMlango-T: ICT for Girls Education in Kenya
Project disclaimer
Description
iMlango-T is the second phase of the DFID-funded Girls Education Challenge project based in four counties in Kenya. In this phase, iMlango will continue to provide computers and internet connection for 205 schools in Kenya, as well as educational maths and literacy content via the iMlango portal. In the second phase of iMlango, we are focusing not just learning outcomes in the primary schools, but also transition pathways for our cohort of girls, ensuring that as they finish primary school they proceed to further education. We are also supporting girls clubs in the primary schools to help girls aspire to education and support them in life skills and navigating difficult issues that arise as they grow older.
