Description

To increase security and access to justice by providing skills, facilities, equipment and systems for better crime prevention and response. This will benefit at least 1.5 million people in Nepal and, in particular, will change the ways that police and other agencies engage with poor and traditionally marginalised people . Greater security and access to justice are foundations for progress on all of MDGs (Millennium Development Goals), giving people confidence that they will be better protected from crime and abuses of power. DFID will provide support over five years until 2018.
