Description

An earthquake measuring 6.8 magnitude struck Morocco at approximately 23:00 on Friday 8th September 2023. The epicentre was located in the High Atlas Mountains, around 71km south-west of Marrakech at a depth of 18.5km. The earthquake was felt in Algeria and the Canary Islands.
