Description
To promote multidisciplinary research based on agreed national priorities including Energy, Education, Health, Food and Environment. Through programmes Institutional Links and Newton Fund Impact Scheme, UK and Mexican researchers support economic development and social welfare by facilitating technological solutions to tackle global challenges. Diverse communities are included in project development to ensure impact at a system level.
Objectives
To initiate new research and innovation collaborations between academic groups, departments and institutions in Mexico and the UK and to support the exchange of research and innovation expertise and the translation of research knowledge into tangible benefits.
