International Citizens Service 2015-2021
Description
This is the third phase of the International Citizenship Service, a volunteering programme for young people aged between 18-25 from across the UK. Each placement will last up to 3 months with volunteers working directly with local organisations on long-term, sustainable development projects focusing on education, health, livelihoods, civic participation or the environment in some of the world’s poorest communities. This will build on the success of phase 1 and 2, which has already seen over 20,000 volunteers participate.
