Description
To support the work of FAO to improve global food security and sustainable agricultural development, contributing particularly to SDGs 1 and 2 on ending poverty and eliminating hunger. FAO provides technical assistance to develop and implement policies on food, nutrition, and agriculture that benefit food-insecure and vulnerable people, especially in rural areas. FAO also promotes economic development, job creation, gender equity, and helps to build resilience to the effects of climate change.
