Achieving Universal Coverage of Long lasting insecticide treated nets in Sierra Leone
Description
To reduce the malaria burden in Sierra Leone, particularly in pregnant women and children under five years, by contributing 1.3million long lasting insecticidal nets (LLINs), communication and monitoring and evaluation activities to the nationwide LLINs mass distribution campaign to achieve universal coverage of households with LLINs. This contributes towards our MDG’s by improved health outcomes at scale, particularly for pregnant women and will avert 13,514 additional child deaths by 2016.
