Supporting Tax transparency in developing countries

Description

The purpose of this programme is to enable partner countries to engage with, and benefit from, the international tax transparency agenda. Through funding the World Bank, The Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and the Global Forum on Tax Transparency and Exchange of Information (Global Forum). The programme aims to enhance partner countries’ capability to tackle multinational tax avoidance and evasion and 1) supports developing countries to adopt and effectively implement transfer pricing rules in accordance with international principles 2) supports developing countries to participate effectively in international exchange of tax information in line with the international standards of the Global Forum 3) assists developing countries to engage in, and benefit from the G20/OECD Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (BEPS) project 4) enables the Global Forum’s Africa Initiative, which seeks to promote and expand the take up of exchange of information standards.
