Multi-year support to World Food Program emergency response
Description
To improve access to food to vulnerable and disaster affected populations through food aid and nutrition support. This will benefit 3.24 million acutely food insecure people, 215,000 malnourished under 5 children and 58,000 pregnant and lactating women by preventing them from hunger and malnutrition. This contributes to our MDG’s by preventing loss of lives and livelihoods in emergencies and will results in reduction of national rate of acute malnutrition from 9.7% to 7% by the end of 2015
