Custom Development & Trade Facilitation Support in South Sudan
Description
To provide an effective and transparent customs service at the border with Uganda and improve associated trade related institutions in South Sudan (Ministry of Trade, Bureau of Standards, as well as private and civil society organisations). The impact of the work is expected to be felt in an increase in the volume and value of dutiable trade, an increase in business confidence and investment and a decrease in the number of harmful products entering the country. This will benefit the people of South Sudan and will directly contribute to the 8th Millennium Develop Goal (Developing a Global Partnership for Development).
