AGMIP - Agricultural Model Inter-Comparison and Improvement Project
Description
To improve substantially the characterization of risk of hunger and world food security due to climate change and to enhance adaptive capacity in developing regions.DFID will fund the Sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia regional projects of a global initiative to improve crop and agricultural economic models to provide substantially improved assessments of climate impacts on the agricultural sector. The regional projects will improve the reliability and accessibility of assessments of impacts of climate change on agriculture in SUB-SAHARAN AFRICA and S.Asia and improved identification of potential adaptation strategies.
