Strategic Technical Support to Improve Quality in the Education Sector
Description
To improve the capacity of Government to implement reforms to deliver quality educationTo enhance quality focused policy dialogue, programme implementation, monitoring and evaluation in the education sector by providing strategic technical assistance and flexible funds to the Ministry of Education. This contributes towards MDG targets by improving quality of education and will result in increased primary completion rates for both boys and girls by September 2013. This would mean 175,000 more boys and 193,000 more girls completing grade 8 (the last grade of primary education) in 2013 compared to 2009.
