HIVAIDS Prevention Programme
Description
To improve the effectiveness of the HIV prevention response by developing national HIV prevention action plans, increasing the capacity of the Ministry of Health (MoH) and Uganda Aids Commission (UAC) to implement the action plans, and supporting HIV testing and counselling as an entry point to other HIV prevention and treatment interventions. 3,000,000 people will receive an HIV test and be referred into appropriate HIV prevention, care or treatment services by December 2014.
