Strengthening National Capacity in Developing Countries to design and implement sector wide indicators of Safety and Justice
Description
To work with security and justice institutions in Jamaica, Sierra Leone, Nigeria, Ethiopia and Bangladesh to develop indicators that support local ambitions for improved performance management, and to disseminate knowledge and experience of what works across DFID and the international community.To work with security and justice institutions in Jamaica, Sierra Leone, Nigeria, Ethiopia and Bangladesh to develop indicators that support local ambitions for improved performance management, and to disseminate knowledge and experience of what works across DFID and the international community.The national governments involved will develop stronger ability to use indicators to drive better performance of key security and justice processes. This should lead to improved performance management systems that yield more accurate and timely information to decision makers about the impact of strategies for improving organisational performance. This will be achieved within the lifetime of the project, which concludes in August 2014, with an evaluation of impact to be undertaken one year later.
