Description
By 2022, duty-bearers, including government sector departments, implementing partners and CSOs, have the capacity and systems to deliver equitable, gender-responsive safely managed water and sanitation services, including in schools and in early childhood development centres and health-care facilities, and in emergency situations., which contributes to Climate Change, Disaster Risks And Envionmental Degradation, Cross Sectoral - Children With Disabilities, Safe And Equitable Water, Sanitation And Hygiene Services And Practices, Safe And Equitable Water, Sanitation And Hygiene Services And Practices (Covid), Water, Sanitation And Hygiene Systems And Empowerment Of Communities. UNICEF aims to achieve this through Developing And Leveraging Resources And Partnerships, Harnessing Power Of Business And Markets, Systems Strengthening And Institution Building, Systems Strengthening To Leave No One Behind. This contributes to the following Country Programme result: By 2022, more people in Pakistan, including women and children and the most deprived, stop practicing open defecation and have access to and use safely managed water and sanitation services in rural and deprived urban areas.
