Description
Deliver significant research funding for internationally competitive and innovative collaborative projects between researchers from Colombia and United Kingdom that will allow the pursuit of shared research interests. OSA statement says: PPC-Colombia focuses on empowering communities by building their capacity, facilitating access to information on mental health, and co-creating a sustainable model of social intervention rooted in social networks and interaction. The project directly benefits a) Communities and vulnerable groups (the rural, indigenous, Afro-Colombian, women, and adolescents) in the Montes de Maria region; (b) the service providers (Healthcare workers) operating in the area; (c); policy makers (Local health authorities, Ministry of Health and Sciences); (d) researchers at the partnering universities and beyond. Dynamic assessment of impact indicators by all stakeholders and the team will ensure that the project delivers the intended benefits.
