Support to establish the International Finance Facility for Education (IFFEd)
Description
The UK is supporting the establishment of a new financing mechanism for global education – the International Finance Facility for Education (IFFEd). IFFEd will work through the Multilateral Development Banks to provide new, additional, affordable lending to partner governments for education in Lower Middle-Income Countries (LMICs). This programme will provide seed funding to enable IFFEd to complete the final steps to start implementation with partner governments and Multilateral Development Banks.
