Investing in the Humanitarian Capability of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) 2021-2025
Description
This project provides core support to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). This project will enable the ICRC to Promote and disseminate International Humanitarian Law – which can contribute to reduced conflict and instability Enhance humanitarian access and adherence to humanitarian principles. Provide humanitarian protection and assistance to vulnerable people caught in situations of armed conflict. Develop policy frameworks to enhance its operational humanitarian response in conflict settings. Strengthen its core oversight and assurance frameworks to manage safeguarding and fraud risks. It also provides the ICRC with support to underfunded operations enabling it to be present in situations of conflict.
